A Cozy In-Home Photo Session

When it comes to couple sessions, sometimes you just gotta let go of the idea of the “adventurous and epic location” and just go with what feels most like you. Especially during the colder months, there’s nothing better than staying in town for a rainy day walk, and then heading back to your cozy home to cuddle up with your fur baby. Throw on a record, and enjoy a dance party right in your living room. So for Saengta and Hannah’s couple session, that is exactly what we did! Keep scrolling to see photos from Saengta & Hannah’s cozy in-home photo session and meet their cute kitty fur baby, Patricia!

Saengta & Hannah’s Cozy In-Home Photo Session

Their session started with a rainy walk in downtown Redding. Here I took some candid shots of Seangta and Hannah walking in the rain with their umbrella, they looked so cute! We then found an empty parking lot and got some more shots there before heading back home. This was my favorite part of the session. They hung around the living room with their cat, Patricia, and they danced around in the living room while I captured every moment. I loved the cozy vibes of the in-home session so much!

When it comes to choosing your couple session location and vibe, do what feels most like you. This is the hill I will die on as a photographer. As much as I love an epic location and the beauty that surrounds the great outdoors, if it doesn’t feel right, it’s not right. I’m always open to giving suggestions on locations but if you know what you want follow your gut and stick to it. I’m here for you in the outdoors (except for Burney Falls, that’s a story for another time) or in the comfort of your home (especially with kitties).

Words from Seangta & Hannah

You did such an incredible job capturing how we feel about each other and I couldn’t be more grateful 🥹🥹
