Why You Should Bring Your Pet To Your Photo Session

Bringing your pet or pets to your photo session can make your session unique and full of amazing photos! Your fur babies have a way of making every moment feel special. Bringing your pet to your photo session might take a little extra effort but the results are ALWAYS worth it! Here’s everything you need to know about bringing your pet to your photo session!

Choose the Right Location

First step is to choose a location where your pet feels safe! Public parks, beaches or trails often welcome pets but it's always a good idea to double check if they are allowed there. If your fur baby spooks easily or prefers familiar surroundings, having an in home session or a studio that allows pets might be a better alternative! That is exactly what Selena and Raj did! They had a cute session in a studio and their fur baby got to be a part of it all! It made for some amazing photos.

Prepping Your Pet for the Photo Session

Here are some more tips to keep things smooth throughout your photo session!

Make sure to prep your pet for the photo session! Make sure to freshly groom your pet so they look good on camera! You can also add some personality to the session by having them in a themed outfit, like a sweater, a jersey or even some matching PJs! Another tip is to make sure to bring treats, water and leash to help keep your pet comfortable and happy throughout the session!
