Whimsical Elopement at Mt. Madonna County Park

Eloping is such a personal choice and stands as a testament that you only need the most important people in your life as you take the next big step in your life. Jess and Logan’s whimsical elopement at Mt. Madonna County Park was a true representation of this. And, I am super excited to share this gallery. Come see more of this day below to get inspired for what your day could look like at Mt. Madonna County Park, too.

Jess & Logan’s Whimsical Elopement at Mt. Madonna County Park

This elopement was booked just a week before the day, so it came together really quickly. Even with the short notice, the couple planned a weekday celebration in the redwoods that included all the details of a traditional wedding, but on a more intimate scale. The location was beautiful, and Jess and Logan were wonderful to work with. The day went smoothly, starting with a romantic first look - which I loved so much. Jess wore a lovely dress that added a whimsical touch to the elopement. The ceremony was small, with about 12 close family and friends, and they included their dog, Khaleesi, which added a special touch. After the ceremony, Jess and Logan had a private vow reading, followed by toasts and cake with the family We were then able to take portraits in the redwoods at Mt. Madonna County Park. Overall this elopement was absolutely amazing!!

What Jess & Logan had to say About their Experience

“This could almost go without saying, because her work simply speaks for itself. Evelyn was an absolute DREAM photographer. Her photography is a legitimate art form. When I was diligently hunting for a photographer for my small, quaint, elopement, I knew that the pictures were going to be one of the factors that would make or break my big day. I reached out to Evelyn, PRAYING that she would be willing to travel to us because I didn’t want to settle for anyone else, as she was my first pick….and let me just say, I have never, in my entire 31 years of life, liked a picture that was taken of me. Not only do I like the pictures she took, I’m completely obsessed with them. She turned our forest elopement into the most magical day and truly captured the genuine, unfiltered love between my husband and I without making anything look overly posed. Everyone on both sides of the family, including myself, has giant canvases with our wedding pictures hanging on the wall in their homes. If she’s willing and able, I will be booking her for all of our lives’ most important moments.”
